When enabled, Tamper Protection prevents Windows Security and Windows Defender settings from being changed by programs, Windows command line tools, Registry changes, or group policies. And we'll just flip these other settings, "For your own good"

Continuing the effort to decouple Microsoft products from .NET Core itself, Microsoft is spinning off their SQL Server drivers into a separate deployment stream. What about an OLE DB provider for Linux?
"For most developers, using Microsoft.Data.SqlClient will be as simple as just changing the using statements at the top of each class. " Riiiiiiiiiight. Fingers crossed.

No, it's not a story about food poisoning or any thing at all to do with it. A new paper suggests that with the right encouragement and understanding the IoT crowd could change their hardware from silicon to bacteria. It's a little hard to hook it up to a monitor though
Hooking it up to a mouse is easier, but the results could be rather unpleasant for you and the mouse

Windows 10 version 1703, otherwise known as the Creators Update, has now reached end of service and will no longer receive any future security or quality updates. "Right now we’re releasing Windows 10, and because Windows 10 is the last version of Windows, we’re all still working on Windows 10"

We yesterday reported that Microsoft is adding finishing touches to the upcoming major update of Windows 10 codenamed Windows 10 19H2. Microsoft has now officially named this update as “Windows 10 November 2019 Update”. Sorry for those who had money on them naming it "Bob"
It is truly a poetic name though, isn't it? “Windows 10 November 2019 Update” Ah. It just flows... Songs should be written with that name as lyrics.

Granted it ain't the most poetic of names but it sounds much less like an influenza strain than "19H2."
