Microsoft has announced that it has sold 200 million Windows 8 licenses and the comment came from Tami Reller during the Goldman Sachs Technology & Internet Conference. If Windows 8 were a country, that would make it Brazil

"We manufactured 10000 billion cars" is completely different to "We sold 10000 billion cars."
Microsoft will just be including the OEM licenses that manufacturers are buying in bulk, not the actual end users who simply don't want Windows 8.

Researchers in the US have overcome a key barrier to making nuclear fusion reactors a reality. In results published in Nature, scientists have shown that they can now produce more energy than the fuel put into an experiment. The use of fusion as a source of energy remains a long way off, but the latest development is an important step toward that goal. I could have sworn I heard about this already.
