After months of work, the FBI finally has a way into the San Bernardino iPhone. In a court filing today, prosecutors told the court the new method for breaking into the phone is sound, and Apple's assistance is no longer required. Turns out his password was 12345 after all.

Anglo-pedant to the rescue!
"Farther" should be used when talking about actual physical distance.
E.g. "Going East from here, Singapore is farther than London."
"Further" should be used for metaphorical distance or depth.
E.g. "We shouldn't take this any further; the matter is decided."
"Further" can also be used (in poor English, in my opinion) as a verb.
E.g. "Let's further this discussion tomorrow!"
