On the contrary, what the advertiscumbags need to realize is that their actions have consequences. When several years back after agreeing to a voluntary do-not-track flag as an alternative to it being made mandatory, subsequently they collectively decided to ignore it they declared open war. That the rest of us are ramping up our defenses as a result. Personally, that move marked when I switched from a purely self-made blocklist consisting of whatever advertisers crap broke usability/user experience of the years to using 3rd party block feeds to preemptively kill as many of their payloads as possible.
