I'm having all kinds of problems getting stopPropagation and stopImmediatePropagation working on IE (non compat mode) (using jquery - onmousedown). Works for everything else - but IE 10 non compat.

e.cancelBubble = true;
e.returnValue = false;

From now until October 27th you can trade-in your old iPad 2, 3, or 4 for a whopping $200 to use at Microsoft retail stores. As if you need a reason to mug a nearby hipster
Dang, it doesn't work with the first generation iPad: that would be my excuse to finally turf it. $200 doesn't seem overly generous, IMO, but whatever. Better than $0 off. Sadly, just US and Canada now, and you need to actually find a Microsoft store to make it work.

If you think about it - if this was ever implemented - we'd have to start charging such ISPs to have access to our servers/pages et al. I'd charge them double what they charge users, and offer a rebate to users.
They were one of the first ones on board with the NSA program - aren't they getting paid enough already

HTTP  I guess I'm one of the few that just uses the Web interface for GMail and Outlook (both .com and Exchange client).
Every time I try switching to an IMAP client, it goes ahead and creates a whack of folders, and that just pokes my CDO[^].

Good point. But imagine: I had to implement it recently for our component watching an email account - some customers insist on IMAP instead of POP3/SMTP.
