I'm curious because the author says, "the Python machine learning library scikit-learn[^] is written in Fortran"
He provides a link to wikipedia entry on sci-kit learn which says that the library is written in python and the entry doesn't mention Fortran at all. ???
Does anyone know what the author is talking about on that?

Ehhh, it looks as good as it performs.
Barring a really clever optimization at the compiler/runtime level, it has to iterate over the entire list to create the set, vs aborting as soon as the first duplicate is found.

Microsoft has closed a long-standing request to port Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO) to .NET Core, stating that it "will not be updating VSTO or the COM Add-in platform to use .NET Core." It's not like they're two products from the same company or anything
Still, handy excuse to keep around in case someone asks you to upgrade an old .NET Framework app - "Microsoft didn't bother, why should I?"
