Subverted libraries likely intended as a prank but should be taken seriously, say security researchers I guess it's a good thing Roblox has been down?
Isn't that the 'large LEGO for little hands' stuff?

Actually had to look this up since I thought the same. They were Mega Bloks and a Canadian company. Before that, there were Tyco Blocks (which were rather terrible.)

No, that's Duplo. (And probably various compatible brick copycats.)
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

As spotted by Naked Security, the Yum repository for Edge now lists stable builds of the browser alongside the previously available Dev and Beta releases. Finally, it's the Year of being able to browse on Linux

"Stable"? Is that a place where you keep your horses? Why would you keep Edge together with them?

The Oscar winning screenwriter of ‘Dune’ writes in an MS-DOS program that can only hold 40 pages in memory. Upgrading is the mind killer
|
|
|
|
|
The full version:
I must not upgrade.
Upgrading is the mind-killer.
Upgrading is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my upgrade.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the upgrade has gone there will be nothing. Only MS-DOS will remain.
Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.

What's to write?
Lots of sand.
Look - big worm! [queue 2 hours of special effects]
Lots of sand.
Everyone shouts: "run!"
Lots of bloody sand.
Genetic anomaly guy stands his ground and says "Kneel to your God, worm!"
Worm kneels.

The company said that the AI is now helping to write 30% of code on the platform. Of course, that 30% is all 'printf("Hello world");'

And the other 70% is copy-pasted from Stack Overflow.

Researchers from the University of Science and Technology of China recently published a paper indicating they’ve created a quantum computer that’s one million times faster than Google’s Sycamore machine. Well, mine's a million-kajillion times faster!
Infinity plus one times faster!

You have to add the magic word or you get sued.

In all probability, the US company bean counters gave the plans to them, so they could make it for us cheaper.

I think most SO's would appreciate even a 2x faster "I don't know" response from their hubbies.

Quantum is already "fast"; even at a "million times", you may not notice.
And "powerful" is not the same as fast; it just uses more power (like bitcoin).
