Seriously, do you mean to say that if you go to Who's Who, you see Griff at the top of the list? Because I don't, I see the infamous Russian...

Breaking news - Magician Paul Daniels dies aged 77 - BBC News[^]
It was only last week that he announced he had brain rot. This is the same fecked up shet screwing my brother into the ground.

I saw him live nearly 30 years ago - I went with my brother who was a Traffic Policeman at the time. We were front row so Daniels got my brother up for a few tricks - when he found out what he did for a living, he was merciless. Funniest thing I'd seen in ages.
Later on, Paul Daniels was rather unfairly treated by younger "trendier" magicians because of his prime time TV show but there seemed to be a lot of jealousy there. Daniels drew viewing figures that no UK magician has seen since - and he did it year after year. While his act was cheesy, he was a master of his craft. I have nothing but the utmost respect for his career.
RIP Paul Daniels.

He really did know how to make the audience enjoy themselves. He had a recent tour billed as Back - In Spite Of Public Demand

I have a photo of the tour poster from a cinema in some town in Cornwall, possibly Redruth.

It made me sad when I heard the news this morning, he made me happy a lot of times when I was young.
We ate in the same pizza restaurant as him and The Lovely Debbie McGee around 25 years ago. He did loads of tricks for the staff and other customers. Clearly enjoyed making people smile and didn't get fed up with them or performing.

I was running Windows Update and the whole system froze up during the download process, so I rebooted. When it started back up, I got a message saying that unauthorized software was detected and to select a different boot device.
I'm questioning how much I should reinstall... On the one hand, I can't do .NET dev without windows. On the other hand, I just don't give a sh|t.

The real question is: CAN you do it WITH Windows?
Seriously, it sounds like your computer requires a major overhaul!
