I never do it.
I worked for a short period for a company where the head developer did it and it just had this really icky feel to it.
Just think, when you swear in the office people can hear it for than instant, but when you swear in code it's there for everyone to see and you are imposing your brain fart on them every time they read that code(sure it can be refactored but it will be there in the version history).
I don't want to impose my temporary profane and negative mental states on other people who come across my code.
Crikey that sounds like I am some ##&#&!#ing holier than thou mendicant!

Nope, I often swear at computers but I try not swear on them.
I will occasionally throw in a "WTF????" as a temporary marker but it's been many years since I used the full text in a comment.

Funny story...not long ago I put a few unsavory comments when I was interrupted numerous times while working on a piece of code. The code in question, when deployed to the customer refused to run.
My first thought was that the bad comments had somehow caused it, so I immediately removed the coarse language, recompiled, redeployed and guess what?...it still didn't work!

I don't put profanity in, but I can get a bit snarky, and will not hesitate to lambast MS, et al for glaring shortcomings.

Because you basically can't...
I'm trying to schedule one, but when I click the "Schedule exam >" button I get a blank page.
Opening the console shows some JavaScript errors.
So I decide to use Edge instead of Chrome.
I don't think that should matter in 2019... And it doesn't because it's broken on Edge too
Only on IE am I able to schedule an exam

Yep nice easy one to start the week, If you want to create a theme go for it - I think start the week with an ordinary clue and if a theme evolves so be it
