When you were posting about adding new Linux boxes, I was going to recommend a Pi but then moved onto something else.

I have a linux box (256gb ssd, 8gb RAM) dedicated to pi-hole, but I saw a video of a pi, and will admit a pi is a much better method for filtering ads than a full-size computer.

If you are wondering what to do with the machine, then download Stratux. While intended originally for airplanes, I think your car might be a good fit

Mine has a Hifiberry dac pro and runs Squeezecenter / Squeezelite effortlessly, has for about 5 years. I have a top of the range Slimdevices Transporter network player which is my main box but in a blind test with the Pi I couldn't tell them apart

Around 40(out of 59) movies are sequels, prequels, and reboots in this list[^]. Only independent filmmakers making original movies nowadays. No wonder, most people subscribed to platforms like Prime/Netflix/Mubi.
Few from above list are still in my watch list.
New Mutants - For a change, fresh XMen characters.
Once Upon a Time In Hollywood - QT's take on real one.
Glass - Surprising crossover.
Shazam - Liked the trailer. Classic look. Sandberg's DIY Filmmaking is awesome[^]. And he made 2 decent features.
It: Chapter Two - 1st chapter was good.
John Wick 3 - Ending scene of 2nd part alone forcing to watch this one.

Pet Cemetery, hmmm, if they go as un-tame as it last year could be worth a gander, (even if just to see how realistically mangy and mean they make the cat).
and related...
of course y'all know Mr. Mercedes is back on (- though waiting till the last for a binge watch)
and (assuming no more delays): High Castle is [supposed to be] back next month.

Looks like another full year ahead of me where I won't be purchasing a single movie ticket, or DVD/Blu-ray.

Can't say that list excites me, but I'm probably getting too old for those movies ...

No. they have completely forgotten how to make movies.
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats.

Hello mate. Have you watched mother?
I loved it. My gf hated it. The imdb ratings are either really high or really low. Reflecting how marmite it is.
If you've seen it ill be interested on your take. If nit you should watch it. I'll think you'll like it. Its one I those you have to google after to make sure you caught everything

Pom Pey wrote: The imdb ratings are either really high or really low. Don't go with that one. IMDB ratings done by users & sometime with sock puppets & flamewars. Metacritic & RottenTomatoes are better than IMDB because both are review aggregators.

Amazon's Alexa will use 'intuition' to know what you want before you do[^]So all those things it picks up aren't used to profile your tastes - or are they. Well, it always was a sorta' yes.
Just a reminder emphasizing the degree to which you'll subordinate yourself to your devices.
Well now, if you need to know how you feel, you can ask them.
