Shame? Shame is for wimps!
For example - suppose your pants fell down in a place that was less than private.
You could apologize profusely whilst you gather them back up. Alternatively, you could say to any gents that may be witnesses to the event "Sorry Gents! I guess this now confirms your worst fears."

I make no mistakes when speaking foreign languages.
It may also be important to note that I do not speak any foreign languages.

Speaking in general is to much work, I prefer to just grunt and point.
Common sense is admitting there is cause and effect and that you can exert some control over what you understand.

The switch to British Summer Time threw me off?
Nope: forgot to put a reminder in the calendar ...
(It does mess with my head, my body clock doesn't know if it's Lunch or Christmas for a week or so after the clocks change...)

Anyone watched the BBC series? If you care for my opinion it was one of the weakest productions I have seen from the Beeb, usually their output is of consistently high quality. Incoherent story and no particular production values. Season one finished recently, apparently there is no decision yet on a second season.
Did you like it more than I did?

It was flawed, but ok. Definitely seen worse. I liked the season ending! (No spoilers...) I was wondering how they were going to handle that. The story seemed perfectly coherent to me (even if somewhat scientifically implausible...)

Well I misphrased that a bit. I did like the conspiracy side of the story but I think the way the characters behaved often did not make sense. I have already ejected the irritating points from my cache so I cannot give any examples ATM.

It felt a bit cheaply made, rushed and implausible. Other than that, great.

Rushed indeed! A potentially great idea, sloppily done.

... but who cares. After having to drive to work this morning (after setting the time one hour ahead to summer time), I need some transportation without hordes of sleeping sunshines in my way.
How about this?[^]
It's even in a realistic price range.[^] Too bad that I don't have anything near the room for such a toy and far too many neighbors, of whom only very few might be understanding enough.

An autogyro, probably not really practical in any role. I would prefer to keep a small practical car for every day stuff, like going shopping. But I would prefer to fly to work, every day stuff or not.

I can't see the price range on the linked website.

They have a menu 'Pricing & Options' which leads you to pages like this one.[^]

Hi All,
It's British summer time and it's a nightmare here. Nearly everthing these days auto-adjusts the hour except a few things. I was bitten today as I was late in as the alarm clock wasn't adjusted for the hour. However when I clocked in this mornin', wait the 10 or so mins for me to appear on the network open the page check the details I have been here an hour and ten minutes... not complaining!

I just received the following message concerning a website (that I access on a regular basis) that is maintained by a large professional organisation:
Quote: We have had a number of reports of volunteers experiencing problems after the clocks changed on Sunday 25 March. This doesn't appear to affect all volunteers, but there have been a significant number of reports of volunteers where the time on eLog is showing 2 hours earlier than the actual time. After investigation, we have found the root of the problem and are working to solve it with our vendor as quickly as possible.

How many organisations are there for large professionals?
I may need to join.

There's a growing need and I'm sure you'd be welcome.

It's the "growing" bit that's the problem
It's that or diet, and joining sounds easier...
