Everyday I watch, and I never work them out (yes, I am really bad at CCCs).... but today I finally got the answer!
But I don't want to write tomorrows so I will keep it to myself!

Yeah, I am really tempted as I am surprised it only took me 2 minutes and nobody else seems to have gotten it yet.
Can I answer and then just nominate you to do it again?? What are the rules?!

Yeah that is what I got. I will be honest, I just dumped "Overweight" in the thesaurus and after looking at the first word "Corpulent" for some reason "PERL" just jumped out at me. Then obviously the remaining letters validated the answer.

Hang on, I just seen your new post... I didn't even know there was a time limit on these things. I guess that's just how rare it is that they don't get answered.

What? Putting the rules where I can find them?

I'm working on a piece of "code". Before it was really inconsistent and producing unreliable results. Now it is always wrong. Can this be considered an improvement?
I am not the one who knocks. I never knock.
In fact, I hate knocking.

An intermittent fault is much harder to diagnose than a continuous fault. I'd say what you have is an improvement.
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

When your code is consistently wrong it is far easier to diagnose and fix that when it is only "sometimes" wrong
"There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult." - C.A.R. Hoare

Out of topic: saw that you mention Dave in your sig, are you still in touch ? What happened to M.Vilmos, seems like he is not so often here anymore (did he get a real job, the kind of which one has to work during working time ?

To quote an old colleague of mine:
"I've had a truly awesome day. This morning, there were 267 issues on my bug list and now I'm down to one. Sure, the software doesn't actually run anymore and that is a bit of a problem but it's 266 fewer problems than we used to have so I think we ought to go out and celebrate. A win's a win!"
