Oh, right, you realised it was a rubbish clue and decided to change it eh?

I realised you poor lot were struggling... it was a perfectly good clue. The musical clue was only to give you a nudge towards the right Mrs Previn (ex) - nothing to do with herbs or chicory per se. Come on, take it on the chin - you was beat!

Well if I has seen your edit I would have stood a chance!
Come on, your edit attests to your guilt about posting a rubbish clue, admit it!

No - it attests to the fact that I can't do it tomorrow so needed a winner!

Also.. if it took you away from reading the Daily Mail then your morning wasn't all wasted!

I think people are very mean about Flash... yes, everything bad about it is true now, but in its day it was quite something, and there was nothing to match it. It became a lumbering beast, and while I’m not shedding any tears at its passing, nevertheless I’m prepared to give it its due for what it was in its heyday.

Yes, but ...
You can say the same about McAfee, Norton / Symantec, ... once upon a time, they were good too. But they "lost their way" and went all Elephanted.

The problem with flash was all the security issues. That was the main thing but I had a few laptops where it took 100% cpu, though I don't know if that was a flash issue or an OS issue, or what. But it was probably a flash issue.

I cannot in good conscience "Click To Enable Adobe Flash Player"

The problem here is that too many websites still use Flash, so the player remains a necessary evil. I personally have never had a single problem with Flash but perhaps I'm the exception rather than the rule.

The webpage has a link
I click on it.
A small independent window appears on my screen.
It has a message...
"Click To Enable Adobe Flash Player"
So I click.
Nothing happens.
So I call them on the phone.
She tells me that I have not installed Adobe Flash Player
(Yes I have; but another topic for another day)
So I go to Adobe Flash Player Install for all versions
Then I install it (I thought)
Then I restart my machine.
No change, no difference, no Adobe Flash Player.
This includes Chrome, Firefox, and Opera.
So, I am now asking the geniuses here at CodeProject: How do I make Adobe Flash Player work on my machine ? (A few specs are appended below)
Thanks to anyone who has previously solved this problem.

Thank you one and all.
Opera was acting up.
There is a setting for Flash. It has three options. When I changed it to the least restrictive option (i.e., let any site run flash whenever it wants) then it works.
Don't worry, as soon as it was over, I set it back.
Anyway, Opera has a quirk, but it remains my favorite browser.
Thanks again one and all for your help.

Do you have a popup blocker enabled? It may be trying to open a dialog.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
Everything makes sense in someone's mind.
Ya can't fix stupid.

Good question. Checking on that right now. Thanks for the suggestion.

Or an entry in the hosts file. I have to rename that file anytime I want to watch a show on www.cbs.com, and then rename it back when I am done. If I forget, I get a message from Flash telling me such.

Exact same thing happened to a group here.
Best we could figure out is that it had to do with the site using an old version of Flash and us having a new one. If we ran it using IE, everything worked fine. Any other browser had the same problem you described.

To each his own I suppose...I really did try to listen to the first one, but had to quit when the singing started.
Anyhow, I actually wondered the same question this weekend.

Sander was doing it but then got too busy getting published and becoming a CEO!
Bruno used to post interesting musical stuff here as well, usually on the weekends, and usually about the drums.
Anyway, I heard this one a couple of days ago and thought that the drums were phenomenal.

I'm glad I'm being missed!
I just got to busy to keep up, not a lot of music listening lately, unfortunately
It's pretty much impossible to not dance to that first song
