When you open a PDF document with Chrome, it lets you slide through pages vertically.
When you open it with Edge browser, it does horizontally. (May be it's e-readers way of doing)

Top-down... I have a scroll wheal that fits in perfectly to scroll... I think that after all these years, scrolling the wheal and moving right-to-left visually would confuse me...
