Make 'em shovel your driveway, and make sure to tell them it has to be cleared before you leave for work in the morning. That'll cure them well before one season is over.

My son is old enough now to start shoveling this year. Good call.

What? You're letting mere employment get in the way of the important things?

Good profanity filtering, it's perfectly genuine the grammar is almost right though
Lucca is a wonderful city but during the Lucca Comics it is invisible, there are deep walls of people and pavillions, cosplayers and performers. Colourful, with a distinct smell (not always pleasant) and feeling. It's my third year there - probably I won't return there for a while though cause I live a bit far from Tuscany and each time it's 4-500€ of expense only to reach Lucca, stay for the nights and pay the tickets for a couple of days (the others I go as a freeloader, I can't access the pavillions but after the saturday it's moot as everything of value has already been bought.
Closing note: the correct sentence is "Se lo avessi saputo, ci sarei anch'io"

Hey, I haven't spoken Italian for 30 years -- I originall typed "se lo avrebbe saputo" -- it's an English thing; too many "would"s.

Mark_Wallace wrote: Hey, I haven't spoken Italian for 30 years ...and your grammar was still better than the one of most natives, graduated included.
The sentence construction was perfect, it's just that "sarei" goes for the first person singular, "sarebbe" is a third person singular.
And "Se io sapessi" refers to a present/current condition, while "Se lo avessi saputo" refers to a past condition, is qute literally a "If I had known that...".
Many people here would get the entire sentence construction wrong with bigger errors in the verb tenses - which are a PITA in Italian with respect to English. That, the fact that each word has an implicit gender which calls for different articles, and the fact that each verb has a different suffix for each of the 6 possible subjects (I, You singular, He/She/It, We, You plural, Them).
