I know, but you mentioned too early.

My GFs grandpa died from a brain tumor. I've never met him, he passed away before my gf and I met. From the tellings he was an amazing man who somehow survived the holocaust. Cancer sucks big hairy donkey balls, and so does tumor.

Yeah but it's Tikka Massala. That must be imported!!
OK yes I know it's most likely a British invention based loosely on Indian cuisine.

The best selling frozen pizza in Italy, is made on an industrial estate just off the M6 in Lancashire by a German company...

Which one are you talking about? There are 2 "best selling frozen pizza": Cameo and Buitoni. Buitoni is produced in Italy, Cameo is brit I think.. and it's almost equal, Buitoni is more expensive (but it's 10 times better, as frozen pizzas go).
ADD: Ben and Jerry ice-creams are produced in the Netherlands, while Algida (which is an Italian ice cream manifacturer, the one of Cornetto, you may know them with other trademarks) are still produced in Italy, near Naples.

Yes that's the one. The "article" is biased due to the (lack of) knowledge of the market of forzen pizza in Italy: it's the same of "Crispy Pancakes" (in Italy: "Sofficini"), aka cheap dinner-saver when ideas have ran out and it's not possible to eat a proper pizza (far from the city, small children hampering movements, lack of money). It's not even considered "pizza" but junk food.
Consider that a Buitoni forzen pizza costs about 2-3€ and a Dr Oketer (Cameo here) about 1.8-2, and the fact that we usually buy them because they're inexpensive and we already know they won't be of good quality, Dr Oekter has a slightly bigger market share of a already shrinking and small market.

BTW: tha article is incorrect and racist for two reasons.
First and foremost home-made pizza has basically never existed on medium scale, let alone large. Pizza was born as a professional cook dish and was almost only served in restaurants and bakeries, people who make it at home are rare, especially beacuse proper pizza must be cooked on a covered wood oven which wasn't available to the population, only to bakers. So no "momma made pizza" if not in particular occasions, and usually it is "focaccia" which is a different story.
Second, no "mommas" made pizza as pizza baking is traditionally men stuff, as it is BBQ - in fact it means a lot of sweat, heat and ash just as BBQ does, only with more ash.

Really? Chicken tikka and few other tikkas as well are food of Indian sub-continent. "Masala" is a gravy that was apparently added for British people.
That gravy alone has taste and salt so can't be British food.

Dont be daft, we Brits love salt, we sometimes make it in to a solution using vinegar and serve it with a side of fish and chips.

Can't argue.
Both Yorkshire pudding and chicken tikka masala are both English recipes, so it's as English as it gets.
I think I'd prefer a combination of shepherd's pie and trifle, though.

Thanks to IKEA I was under the impression that Swedish cuisine main ingredients were sawdust and epoxy, and that instead of cooking the dishes are to be assembled
Actually I kind of like IKEA restaurants, even if they serve a lot of local dishes in Italy. I particularly enjoy their desserts, but then, I enjoy also british and ameraican desserts...
