Actually I did hear it once.
He left my bathroom looking like this[^]
Since then I got a separate human and (extra spacey) pterodactyl bathroom

Ahh so is this is the kind of music for JavaScript/jQuery devs?
I don't find it "dark", but this is definitely a good music for tipsy people.

I can see myself tripping to this, not necessarily programming.
Veeeeery nice though

I code to this[^]
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
Everything makes sense in someone's mind.
Ya can't fix stupid.

Ugh. I prefer something with more melody, harmonics, and less percussion.

You must not have a dark mind then.

Well, okay, I see, now, why melody and harmony are endangered species.
«There is a spectrum, from "clearly desirable behaviour," to "possibly dodgy behavior that still makes some sense," to "clearly undesirable behavior." We try to make the latter into warnings or, better, errors. But stuff that is in the middle category you don’t want to restrict unless there is a clear way to work around it.» Eric Lippert, May 14, 2008

Classical. I used to hate it, but I play it all the time, and my programming productivity has hit new highs. Mozart and Vivaldi are especially good for this.

Ditto.
I find the 27 (or 23, depending on your sensibilities) Mozart piano concertos the best possible programming music - except I always have to stop to listen to no. 9 (K271, Jenamy or JeuneHomme).

I think like any other programming site, it's hitting a saturation point where it's useful for beginners and intermediate level developers but not particularly advantageous to advanced level users. The karma-based politics does not help either.
That's where Chris and co got it right here on CP - I've never seen anyone seriously complain about karma here (rep scores). Even the issues raised in the Bugs and Suggs forum are mostly to do with how the scores are calculated. There's also a total absence of status-ego on display here. No one's looked down on because he/she is only Silver or Bronze.
That said, can I get back my revoked access to the diamond members' club lounge please?

So just because you demean StackOverflow, you think Chris will give you your keys to the diamond club back?

Oh shut up, you've only had diamond access for 3 weeks now. Also, didn't you get kicked out of the Emerald weekend lounge last month for abusive behavior?

You call it 'abusive', @abhinav-s calls it 'solo naked jello wrestling'. Let's not get tied up in this whole semantics thing again.

I know. I'm still occasionally in touch with him and I don't think he'll be happy at what's been said. To use management BS, he's drunk the KoolAid.

Apart from the odd Google search that takes me to SO, CP is always my first port of call if I need to know something. Not sure what I'd do without my daily dose - hats off to Chris and the gang for maintaining the consistency that makes CP the best coders resource on the net.

Google search results almost always favor SO answers and CP articles but I've rarely seen CP QA answers (perhaps even never). Something's wrong with that page's HTML I guess that causes Google to not include it.
