Personally I would go with the solution from pwasser. It is much more smart and it saves a lot of space one the only one available line

It's a Christmas song[^]!
Quote: On the twelfth day of Christmas
my true love sent to me:
12 Drummers Drumming
11 Pipers Piping
10 Lords a Leaping
9 Ladies Dancing
8 Maids a Milking
7 Swans a Swimming
6 Geese a Laying
5 Golden Rings
4 Calling Birds
3 French Hens
2 Turtle Doves
and a Partridge in a Pear Tree
Any numbered list is likely to be compared to it (and not always at Christmas!)

Of those, only 4 and 5 are skills.
The rest just make it look like you're trying to bulk up the page in lieu of actual experience.

I don't think JS counts as "skill" - "curse" maybe.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Exactly, Javascript is not a skill. It's something you survive through.

Japan's maglev[^] trains have been in commercial operation for over a decade, and a video of some guy doing an experiment in his kitchen gets called a "practical demonstration"?

I am much more UFO-lover, so I prefer something that is more like "flying saucer"!
Also, I did know of that train, but that didn't catch my sight because I already knew about this, but something that solves the phenomenon of "flying saucer" is much better, and interesting.

Don't think it would be terribly practical for any of us to build a train, now would it?

My point was that we're way beyond the proof of concept stage.

To be fair - there was never any assertion to the contrary.

Back over for a few days, my god its miserable in winter. Low cloud, wind, horizontal wind, about 6 hours of twighlight a day. Dear oh god, no wonder we colonised the world, we couldn't take the weather at home!

|
Hah! This is unseasonably good weather!
Imagine this wet stuff if it had been cold...

Yeah - cause England has cold weather in Winter...
Oops - where's my irony emoticon?
Come back to Tronno. It's been 7C here and everyone is walking around in T-shirts exclaiming how warm it is and complaining about the lack of snow.

Makes you just wanna jump on a plane, fly back to Oz and buy me a beer or fifty doesn't it?
Should be in bed, but I'm sore all over from the gym (been back for 11 weeks), I'm drinking (you're surprised aren't you) and watching a good Aussie flick on the telly called Red Hill.

I was more surprised by that bit.

To be fair, he didn't actually mention cold. We'd happily trade the present 24 hour a day wind and rain for a nice sharp freeze!
