Oh, I like the films - the classic trilogy, that is - but with all this merchandise around, sorry, it's too much.

No, of course: the Force is here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes. Even between the land and the ship.

Even though I know it's junk food.
Even though I know I don't want to read the ingredients list.*
Sometimes it's just soooooo right.
Just did some hot dogs for lunch. And they were lovely...heated in the brine from the tin, fried onions, ketchup, mustard, white bread bun...yum!
So what if they are the culinary equivalent of VB?
* Really, really don't want to read the ingredients list. Confucius he say "Never read ingredients until digestion is complete".

So you mean VB is easy to digest?
....or hard?

I mean it works...but...you don't want to think too hard about what you're doing, or tell people...
Oh. Bugger.

With "culinary equivalent" I would go for easy to chow down but hard to digest.

Not something I really like admitting in public, but Lidl is the place to go for such things. Puts the Tesco/Sainsburys offerings in the shade.

Lidl do some good stuff - their fruit and veg can be excellent.
I don't go there often, because it's a fair trip to the nearest branch (and you have to queue for ages to get out).

I totally agree, me an my missus had snacks/lunch there for a long while when we were less wealthy, we usually ate that junk food on the benches of a near park.
Now we often do our grocery there because they have good and cheap tinned products (mais, beans and so on), bread and WONDERFUL ravioli with a large choice of fillings (the last I tried were pecorino and honey, heavenly). Even the meat is good and cheap, the sausages and hamburgers there are of good quality without being too expensive.

You need to be more specific, are we talking Dibbler here (VBA) or Bratwurst from Aschara (VB.Net)?

I've just got bored and while looking at tw@tter found this from Jon Skeets

Clearly, he thinks no code is better than Jon's.
Or more likely, he thinks a one-line VB "Hello World" app is the epitome of development...
