You're not supposed to give the answer! You just hint at the fact you know the answer.

I'm not even going to do that!
I've already got the FSOW to do on Monday, and it looks like I'll have to drive Herself around the country as well on Monday Morning, so I'm not sure how all this is going to work...
And that's not counting that I had no idea at all until I saw the answer posted!

That's a rule for MQOTD!
And honestly, there aren't many CCCs I can solve anyway.

Quote: there aren't many CCCs I can solve anyway I'm in the same boat, so when I immediately came up with the answer I thought, "Hmmm... what can I say to show I know the answer without actually giving the answer."
Then I looked through what had already been posted to make sure I didn't duplicate anything ...and there was your answer!
Now I could never prove to anyone that I, for once in a blue moon, had actually got the answer... mutter, mutter, mutter

You can't understand how much I laughed reading that - in Italian "late" is spelled "tardi", so it looked like the stereotypical italian mangling Engrish

Ok ok I misused the word "spelled" the translation is "tardi", and "tardy" resembles the depiction of the expat Italian that when returns in Italy has a mangled pronounce. There were tens of movies betwwen 50s and 70s depicting - often comically or with social messages - this kind of expats. When I read it they came to my mind, it looked like a joke

Most of the astronomical images referred to at CP don't have the effect these did: awed.

No they aren't. CNN's headline writers don't know what they're talking about as usual. For the next ~2.5 months we're going to be getting compressed (presumably JPGed) images; the uncompressed ones won't start downloading until the end of November (and will take a year to complete).
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Is it just me or have others also started noticing unnerving amounts of "programming rockstar required" job posts? First of all, WHAT? Second of that, let's assume that there is such a thing as a "programming rockstar". And if there were that many programming rockstars around to fill these jobs, then they'd not be rockstars! They'd be just another set of developers.
Oh and then the job posts say the candidate can be fresh college graduate or with "2-3 years of experience". Again, WHAT? What kind of rockstar is this? It's getting to a point where I am going to have to write a browser add-on that puts a big fat red STOP sign on a job post that mentions requirement of "rockstar".
