I know it's wrong, but this whole experience was wrong on so many levels.

At least you don't need to call on Winston Wolf!

Had to look up that.
I would have referred to Viktor, the Cleaner. From "La Femme Nikita".
Great actors both of them.

You start dropping "Pulp Fiction" references and you miss Mr Wolf?
The "Dead N****r Storage" section is one of the best bits of the film!

I finally got fed up with Windows 8.1 and decided to get rid of it. I considered Win 10, but from postings here on CP I decided to let the Early Adopters sort out the quirks and maybe I will consider it in a year or two.
So I was left with my beloved Windows 7. I made an image of my Win 8 systems partition (in case I wanted to go back to Win 8.1) and dusted off my Win 7 OEM disk. I just completed a fresh Win 7 install and so far everything looks great. It's nice to have a stable system and features like the Win 7 gadgets back.
I won't "upgrade" from Win 7 lightly in future!

My new notebook might arrive tomorrow. Fortunately it has no OS installed, so it will be Win 7 again. I don't intend to use any newer windows at all and if Win 7 becomes obsolete, then I may kiss Mickeysoft goodby for good. I would do so already if Linux distributions would get a little better for NVIDIA graphics chipsets.

OK, seriously now : forget all the blabla and "bad bad OS, I won't upgrade, I stick with mw old stick" : Win10, as every other windows, is not the best OS you could dream of, but it is the most up-to-date, and the best windows in class now. The more you wait, the greater the gap to close to the next version, the less shiny the new OS will look.
Just my 2 cents.

Don't forget to remove the spyware that MS has backported from Windows 10 to Windows 7.

You can hardly believe it, but John Smith was once a very shy guy who was afraid of human contact.
He didn't have any friends at school and his time in college was a social vacuum.
He messed up work interviews time after time.
For years, a relationship was unthinkable, let alone a large group of friends.
But people can change. Radically change.
Not John though. He refused to co-operate for this interview.

So how is this supposed to help ... or is ritual humiliation a big thing for De Speld? What does that translate as, 'The Torturer'?

Should've used the joke icon.
Nothing in De Speld is actually true, John Smith isn't real, it's just an anti-climax kind of thing.
De Speld translates as The Pin by the way.
