I just imagined a scenario where a golden boy shall be made aware in his late 20s that he has an autistic bigger brother, and this brother would have the usual autistic super powers, and this old classic could be one of his favorite show, and ...

I saw this elsewhere (bottom of the page)[^] and figured it'd be something someone here was likely to run into too.
Quote: I was wondering why my TortoiseSVN folder overlay icons weren't showing up after upgrading to Windows 10. After some digging, I discovered that Windows 10 can only handle 15 such icons at any one time.
If you aren't familiar, the icons I'm talking about are the little tick icons that appear on synced folders when you use programs like Dropbox or Google Drive.
This means there's a hard limit on the number of these kinds of programs you can use before the icons fail to display and you don't know what states any of your files are in.
OneDrive (formerly Skydrive) is such a program, and it not only comes bundled with Windows 10, but it cannot be uninstalled from Windows 10 without jumping through some absurd hoops.
So about half a dozen of these folder overlay slots taken from near the start of the list that are used up, even if you never use OneDrive, and it can prevent icons from your other programs from showing up.
In order to get around this limit, you need to go into the registry and manually rename all the icons[^] to appear before the OneDrive icons.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

The overlay icon limit isn't new in Windows 10. I had similar problems on Windows 7 with SkyDrive, Groove and TFS fighting to display their overlay icons.

"15 overlay icons should be enough for anybody."
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

This limitation has been around a long time. While I'd prefer they update it to, say, 32 icons, there does need to be a reasonable limit or at least better control over them.

That's how I code.
Can I get an overflow?
With an Exception to go!
Create a loop right here.
Making if-statements disappear.
I want some data y'all,
So best include an HTTP call.
And on the side some curly braces,
Cause I got a switch statement with many cases.
And I'll have some multi-threading,
But leave the races!
And that's how I roll
