Dr.Walt Fair, PE wrote: I'd say its just weird And wtf does not apply to weird? This a semantic thing or do you think lesser of me for saying wtf when you think the proper response is "weird", with the lexical implication being I think it's gross due to the usage of wtf?
Btw, it is axiomatically gross on two levels: 1) the urine and 2) the young boys. Pretending something isn't gross isn't necessarily the hallmark trait of intellectual insight.

How bad could this be, I thought?
WTF, right on the very first page, the very first of those so-called factoids.
Congratulations China, you never cease to amaze me. And not in a good way.

Ok, so technically your link wasn't the first page. Still...

The Seeed Wio Terminal I had bricked itself. Apparently if it crashes it can enter a state where it can no longer accept new code.
Also Seeed advertises it as having 4MB of external PSRAM. They do not document it, or even provide a schematic to show how it's connected - like which SPI bus it's on. For all I know it's not in there at all, and they just lied in their product description. May as well have, and saved some money on manufacture.
I had just gotten DMA working on that little thing - based around a SAMD51 made by Atmel who I do not like. However, Atmel chips are very common and the SAMDs are ARM based, unlike ESP32s which makes them better in that respect. It was worth learning them, even if the Wio it was in is junk.
So now I can't do any performance testing with LVGL or UIX on that device like I planned.
That was what I was planning to do this afternoon. Now what? Meh.

Go outside and enjoy the sunshine?
I am just waiting for the wife to return home, then we are off camping for the weekend. This morning I got the camper hooked up and ready to roll.
