Hi All,
Like most denizens here abouts I keep my PC logged into my CP account so have the odd spot of trouble remembering my Pass Word. Now I am a contractor (first pay check today Wheee! ) I was looking to log in via my phone (Samsung S3) so I can use my CP account working hours, so I go through the process of log in forgotten pass word, the Hamsters tell me the password is on the way, but it does not arrive. Any thoughts anyone...

If your logged in here -- which I believe you are which is why we can see our username -- then you should be able to go to your account and change password to a known one and then log in from device using new one. Yes?
Edit (after trying) I lied. you have to have your current pwd for that. sorry.

Speaking of passwords, just remembered watching this recent video[^]
For more fun, my password *was* derived from the Sanskrit term for the "means for tying cattle, now ties a bunch of sesame twigs".

If you go on another computer besides the one you are logged into, you can get a 'forgot your password?' link on the dropdown when you click 'Sign In' at top right...you can have it email your password to the email account you log in with.

Your time will come, if you let it be right.

Well, it doesn't email you your old password, it sends you a new temporary one to log in with...you log in and then change it to what you want.

You should check out Keepass.
You can get it for your PC and your phone, and then use something like dropbox to keep it synched, that's what I do, works a treat!

What? You don't have your passwords stuck to your monitor?

I pretty much gave up on remembering them a while back and use Keeper[^] - it seems fairly good as it has a two factor authentication using google authenicator everytime you open it on a new machine(or every 30 days), it also sits on my Android device.

My root password is a character from a book I read; means something to me, nothing to anyone else. Then, it gets changed by adding characters/digits.
At work, policy is minimum of 15 characters, and change every 60 days (new password change due in 10 days), so.. we get creative.

Checked your spam box? Are we whitelisted? Have you checked you're signing in with the right email? (I had to ask...).
If still no luck then email me and I can sort you out.

Well I have problems with my S3 logging in...I ask for a new pass word, get the mail that you will send me a link, then I get a Cookies not enabled warning and Evil Hamsters... Odd thing is I had my account on my phone before I updated my username & photo. I don't think anything has changed on my phone regarding cookies though, plain odd!

Can you please send me the email you get? Also let me know the browser you're using.

Hi,
Just tried it, no longer angry Hamsters! A message saying "We're having trouble determining if cookies are working for you. We have sent your password..." but no email has arrived in about 30 minutes, I am so tired I now need to sleep! Something has changed though!
