Number one son likes this[^]
It features the fantastic line: "Excuse me, Bear, have you been drumming on my bottom?" which in context was perfectly reasonable. Mr Bear had indeed been using Bernard's (the eponymous hero) bottom as part of his drumkit.
Alberto Brandolini: The amount of energy necessary to refute bullshit is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it.

Well, that's the fun you could have before PC took over. Provide an amusing side to the story to the adult reading it which would go straight over the kids' heads. Quite a recurring theme in children's stories I believe.
Try that these days and you'll probably get visited by social workers with sticks.

Rob Philpott.

I seem to remember that a lot of the characters in similar literature (Bunter, Biggles etc) from my childhood seemed to do a lot of ejaculating. This caused great hilarity amongst my schoolfriends and me.

There doesn't seem to be an option to read anything from the book - or maybe I'm missing something?
I read 'em all as a kid - and all of the Jennings books too.
I was actually thinking about getting some for my son to see if he enjoys them - of course without the characters doing magic or playing video games, it's unlikely, but worth a shot!

I want to connect 300 webcams into a single cohesive network.
How do I ask the right questions in order to know what other questions I need to ask in order to know what I will actually need to do ?
My first attempt at searching for this (Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo) produced the sadly predictable results: everybody and their brother has this ready to go for a zillion bucks.
That obviously isn't going to work, so, what questions do I need to ask next ?
By the way, if there's a discussion group or message board here on CodeProject where this post better belongs, point me to it.
