Yes, I believe that sums it up pretty well.
How they could be so totally helpless without Thiago Silva is for me a riddle. They really shouldn't be so dependent on one player.

Why not? So was England. But they left him at home...whoever he was.

The one player that we need but leave at home is usually a Welsh left winger

Not.that.good ??? You gotta watch that again : No flaw in defense, Neuer was imperial, and they scored about every time they went in front of the Brazilian goal with brilliant combinations, in a stadium where 98% of the people were for the other team.
But coming from someone in the UK, you have no credibility anyway about football.

There is no way to claim how good Germany was, it's like measuring the quality of a premiere league team when they play a team in the county league.

Subtle as ever, the German sense of humour come to the fore!

Germans haven't gotten the concept of subtle.

Didn't realise they had a concept of humour either!

Oh they do, it's just not very compatible with British humour. (Think Basil Fawlty, don't mention the...)
Come to think about it, it might not be so compatible with others either.

Now, that's a serious claim...

Nah, it's not a serious claim, it's just jealously. If England had Neuer, Ozil, Muller and Klose then I wouldn't need to resort to mockery
