You do know the story about how Pillsbury named their product 'crescent' rolls, don't you? They were originally going to be named 'croissants'. As it turns out, there is a French ministry responsible for ensuring world-wide respect for all things Français. When they heard of the impending product release a conniption of epic proportions ensued, accompanied by a round of miscommunications and posturing by various officials. The end result was a narrowly-averted declaration of war by France against the United States in general, the Pillsbury company specifically, and for some odd reason, a baker in Hoboken New Jersey. To calm the ruffled feathers, Pillsbury offered to change the name. Tensions eased, and moms everywhere (well, in the U.S. anyway) began making pigs-in-a-blanket with wild abandon.

No, and éclair is made of choux pastry, made with hot water, the cream donut you get in the UK is the same as a twinkie but has the jam too, its common enough, I used to love them.

went to this website to enter a competition for the wife. here[^]
entering shed loads of info about yourself is bad enough, but the DOB field gets me.
Clicking on it pops up a calendar, defaulting to today's date. You can't type into the text box, you have to select from the calendar control (as far as I can see, anyway).
And the calendar control can only move one month at a time.
FFS - I need to click more than 600 times just to enter the flamin' competition?!
I'd better win!
**EDIT** You can actually type into the text box - it's just hidden by the pop up.

I had no problems with the DOB field, only that 'DOB' isn't very clear to non-English speaking people (but alright, it's only for Australians and New Zealanders).
Anyway, I clicked the field and the calendar popup showed, but the textbox remained visible too. And I tried typing and it worked. I could enter values such as 'afs' though
What is a 'postal suburb'? First time I've seen that before. And why the hell would they want to know about my most courageous moment (in only 25 words!?)?

I did the same and it worked for me also.

I hope you'll have a birthday next year!
EDIT: Oops, I read 'birth date' as 'birth day'... You should've said DOB, that's less ambigious

Just checked my stats for May. Two new system records set!
May 30, new daily total record of 27.383kwh
Total month record set at: 466.734kwh.
(System is 12x327w panels.)
See what happens in June/July and first half of August and it could be on target to exceed system design expectations for the yearly total.

Nice! When all is said and done with taxes and surcharges, I pay about 15c per kwh, so that's $70 of savings. Interestingly, my April-May usage was 550 kwh, almost covered by your generation.
