I hope you'll have a birthday next year!
EDIT: Oops, I read 'birth date' as 'birth day'... You should've said DOB, that's less ambigious

Just checked my stats for May. Two new system records set!
May 30, new daily total record of 27.383kwh
Total month record set at: 466.734kwh.
(System is 12x327w panels.)
See what happens in June/July and first half of August and it could be on target to exceed system design expectations for the yearly total.

I think they sold you a dud.
Looking at the weekly production graph, it only works half the time...

Nice! When all is said and done with taxes and surcharges, I pay about 15c per kwh, so that's $70 of savings. Interestingly, my April-May usage was 550 kwh, almost covered by your generation.

We get paid a generation tariff for 100% of what is produced, then get an export tariff at ~66% of what is produced, on top of that, the electricity meter goes backwards, so get to re-use the electricity units when importing.

I don't think you want to advertise your backwards-running meter!

Its declared to the electricity company. It is apparently not worth their effort to replace it until it is due for it's routine 10 yearly replacement etc.
I think they are all planning on installing smart meters in the future so that may have something to do with it.

I can't believe June is upon us!
Did someone steal May, or was it just such a busy month that it flew by without me noticing. Longest day in 3 weeks then we head back towards winter!

No, June challenged May to a mud wrestling contest and won. Personally, I would have preferred a good game of strip twister, with Wesson oil, but I wasn't asked, perhaps because I play to lose.
I know your neighborhood gets a bit chilly and damp, Dave, but I wouldn't mind a return to Winter commencing tomorrow, as it was 113°F today, as I foolishly spent 6 hours at the shooting range without benefit of shade. Forget the bullets- give me back my Winter!

I will settle for at least some summer before winter kicks in.

It was nearly the hottest Scottish Spring on record (according to the Met Office, so probably wrong).
I meant to add this to the solar panel thread.

1st day of Hurricane season for us here, our sphincters don't loosen up until Nov. when it's over.
Here today gone to Maui...

I'll be interested to see what happens this year. They overestimated the hurricane activity for the last few years, now they're saying it'll be a "slow season." It would be ironic if one could measure hurricane activity by the inverse of the predictions.
In any case, good luck! Though even here near Albany NY we've had considerable damage from Irene and Sandy.

When I lived in Jacksonville, FL 9 was a particularly bad year we had 3 within a couple of weeks, they weren't direct hits but scarey. The last big one was in 64 so they are due.
