You didn't try very hard. It's on page 3[^] right now, and it was in the Insider last week.

And now it is showing up. Never mind

I have to say since I discovered MVVM all my program are beautiful!
Event better with Knockout I can use MVVM in web apps too! If I mix it with bootstrap and MVC my previously anaemic Web skills can suddenly achieve amazing web app (compatible with IE8) with little effort! :P

I used to do COBOL programming according the ideas of MVC/MVVM and it was beautiful too...

Haha, well, I will take your word on it! ^^

In a few days time I can dig up some of those code - I already have them somewhere...

It wasn't TPMS under ICL VME by any chance, was it?

MVVM is a good design paradigm and I fully support it, but it certainly doesn't stop people writing terrible code.
Yep!
But it is now easier than ever to write easy to maintain application!
All the kudos don't go to the pattern, some goes to the tools too! I didn't try, but I can't imagine using MVVM with WinForm!
You can apply the design ideas anywhere. I've used it in WinForms applications, in web apps (though it's usually called MVC there), in WPF/Silverlight obviously, and also in Flash.

I missed an important part of my meaning.
I said that with KO (or WPF) it's EASY to do MVVM / MVC.
It might have been possible before but it was less easy, not technically, but in term of quantity of code you had to type!

All those fancy frameworks and you're already obsolete

Mmm? My fancy app work fine on IE8?
What is the obsolete thing about?!

No, what is this money thing of which you speak?
There are much better titles...
Resurrection of the Jedi
The Dark Lord
Echoes of Empire
Given that Max Von Sydow is in it, how about "The Return of Ming"?

There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

Could have been worse: Return Of The Jar-Jar, or The Anakin Strike Back. I swear large parts of Episode 1 was taken from the minutes of the CBI AGM.

OK, using existing film titles, turn them into Star Wars Films...
