"is said" is a hint that there's a homophone involved.
I.e. something that has an analogous sound.
Cheers!

Debbie Does Chinatown indeed!
I read a book about the Vietnam war and one of the military commanders was called (genuinely) Lo Bum Suk. That dovetails perfickly with the Debbie Does franchise.

Didn't you hear that the sweet and sour chicken is one of the best dishes out there. If its from big bird is perfect and economical - more meat with one cooking

I prefer Sweet and Sour Pork Hong Kong style[^] to chicken - it has a better texture, but S&S C is pretty good.
Not as good as "proper" street food Satay in Thailand / Malaysia (the worlds most perfect food), but it's pretty good!

Here the sweet and sour dish is made with chicken ... well this is strange but well at least chicken is a little bit better for your health than pork

When? We dunno yet, but "before the next election" which basically means in the next 12 months or so.
It doesn't affect me: I gave up in 2004, but ... what do you think? Is this a massive violation of your rights? Or preventing a violation of the rights of children to breathe "good" air?
Does it work? I know it's been illegal in parts of Australia for 5 or more years, so does it affect anyone here?
I remember that when I was a kid, my Mum and my Dad smoked like chimneys, and on long journeys it was hard to see across the car at times...and yes, that probably did contribute to me becoming a smoker later on in life, but I can't say it definitely did.
