I heard of it. It was probably from here. But, I just didn't care. There are a lot of things out there competing for my mindshare, and an alternate app store is no where near the top.

I have definitely heard of the AppUp store, likely from this site in fact.
However, I'm not really clear what the store actually does. I mean, Intel is not really a "platform". I might optimize a server application for an Intel processor, but I'm not really going to develop for an Intel App Store.
I mean, what about those servers running AMD procs or those that are simply virtualized processing units? What about all of those smart phones running ARM procs?
I'm not sure if this problem was a marketing issue or just a really bad idea.

For me
1) Somebody replaced the disk in my Assassins Creed 4 box with a dreadful pirate/sailing sim
2) WCF

I was all excited for AC4.
The funny thing is I can't figure out why I hate it quite so much. I got about 2 hours in before I gave up. That's a lot of scratch on something I should've demoed somehow.

I was bought it for Xmas - and the reviews are very good
but so far it's not a AC game other than suffering from horrible controls - although they have surpassed themselves with this one - the weapon selector is the worst one yet.
I used to enjoy climbing iconic buildings - shacks and tree stumps just don't do it for me.
Stealth is horrible
The sailing/pirating nonsense should have been kept for a different IP

Gin can fix that
if(this.signature != "")
{
MessageBox.Show("This is my signature: " + Environment.NewLine + signature);
}
else
{
MessageBox.Show("404-Signature not found");
}

It's entertaining but I would love to know the thought process that led to this song.
I may not last forever but the mess I leave behind certainly will.

I guess the reason behind that is poor lyrics writer and a greedy man with acceptable voice. They just needed a good melody to change few notes and they got to that ....thing

They wanted to prove that viral videos don't actually need to be worth watching. (Or sentiments to that effect. Seems like a lot of trouble to go through, but that's what they did.)

After the last couple o' days I am keeping my head down, got some more end panels for the ones I have mucked up from the supplier (thankfully) but is it enough...(I hope so) Once again I have found the Cybertool swiss army knife invaluable. The thing with these boards is they are basically a prototype PCB which the customer wanted a price break on, so ordered X to get a price break. We then found many problems with the actual design which we didn't do entirely. They don't fit the cases and have to persuaded in...
