Congrats! Only a couple of weeks past schedule, not bad considering the steaming pile of VB you started with.
I'm proud of you man!
It was broke, so I fixed it.

Thank You much appreciated. If I do happen to find the original author(s) they might have a Sams Teach Yourself VB book inserted into each hole.

It is a terrible film, but...
The Loan Arranger stars Johnny Depp as Tonto, an Injun.
He paints his face and looks like this[^]
This is seen as acceptable, a White Man painting his face to play a Potawatomi.
(Rather than getting a Native American to play the role).
Had Depp wanted to make a film about, say, Robinson Crusoe and he played Friday, would he have Blacked Up like this[^]
Odd that racism has so many flavours where it is seen as acceptable to Red Up, but not Black Up.

Your question has been put on hold as Not A Question.
Also, this guy[^] is still around, and seen as acceptable by most Dutch people.

Also, the film was light hearted no thinking entertainment and a lot better than some of the 'sh!t' they pass off as quality on the telly. It scored a 6.6/10 (on IMDB) so it can't be that bad.
And don't forget, it was Disney.

As brain-out entertainment goes, it went quite well. I've certainly watched worse films, read worse books, even been to worse parties!
Much better than the version they used to show during the Saturday Morning Matinée at the cinema when I was a kid!

Hot water bottle and gloves, that's what you need.
Either that or go outside and rub two boy scouts together!

I have gloves and coat on, no hotty wotty botty in the house. The heating is now sporadically coming on, but when it does it's p gushing out water like the 1st XV after a two hour trip back from a cup win with no toilet on the coach.

Is it ok to Dalek Up? A white, slightly overweight accountant assuming the identity of a murderous robot? Isn't that a discrimination of Daleks everywhere?
That said: I agree that they ought to have gotten a native indian to play the role (or at least somebody who LOOKS remotely like a native indian)

Umm, I think you meant 'Native American' not Native Indian!

That can't be true - if they were indeed Americans, why would the other Americans try so desperately to get rid of them???
Ooops - probably not a politically correct question either...

It's like a lot history, the stuff that is popular is beating another guy into submission. World War I cause Oil, WWII cause WWI not being suitable settled, Korea cause WWII, Vietnam cause WWII's Japanese invasion & Gulf I & II cause oil. Native American Vs. Transplants, Transplants have media and seem to win! Most cowboys weren't white they were virtual (& actual) slave labour from the East & West Indies & China

history and what actually happened are only remotely related, I have been reading up on WW1 and nearly everythingI thought I knew turned out to be fiction (basically only the death toll seems to be accurate every thing else is fabrication)

I know, I thought for years and was told the shooting stopped in 1918 only in Europe. A good thing to watch if you haven't is 'The History of Oil' by Rob Newman really makes you think 'Oil', it is a little left wing but it makes you think Also I have read the complete reissue of Charley's War (Battle Comics!)

not sure of the oil link as coal was still the major source of fuel, most I have read put it down more to siblin rivalry.
that and the usual european power games

Aahh yes, but a small matter of the Arms race cause by Sibling rivalry, Which led to HMS Dreadnough a oil powered behemoth of it's day (Iron hulled, no need for coaling). Our German cousins (literally in the Royal Family's case) wanted the same. Germany had no access to oil fields by land and had to get it as an import via the sea (where is this going?...) The Royal Navy owned the worlds oceans at the time so the Berlin to Bagdad railway was seen as the best, least sea option. The irony of it is the last bit of the Railway was built by the Royal Engineers (in 1941) madness

HMS Dreadnaught was coal fired, even the most mordern BB of WW1 were dual fuel Coal/Oil, further to that the main trust of the war was for land and britain as usual was not a main target but was dragged in defending a treaty country
most of germany's oil came from the eastern europe not the middle east

Ahh Darn, or Belgium to use a phrase. Mind you that did make a reasonable reason (slightly more than a bloke getting shot at a station). It's a case I suppose of putting two and two together and getting five... also not really trusting your history teachers.
