... better to have a reasonable not- vaccinated person next to me than a vaccinated person who thinks he can do everything because of the vaccination in the opinion that he is protected
(btw, I am vaccinated)

Yeah, vaccination just means that if you are exposed your immune system deals with it quicker, and that reduces the chances / durationthat you are infectious.
Doesn't mean you don't need to wear a mask, don't need to wash your hands, etc.
But it's a good start!

For me, what counts above all is: That people who have been vaccinated can pass the virus on. That is why I feel more comfortable to be next to someone who is not vaccinated but more cautious than to someone vaccinated who romps in the crowd.

EDIT / ADDITION:
I saw your comment below about people that can't be vaccinated due to medical reasons... they can really be counted as cautious as you say above.
The rest of the "I don't want to be vaccinated, just because"... they usually are even less cautious as the vaccinated, because it is a personal decission and a "believe".

Yes, I think there is no real reason not to vaccinate other than medical indications.

Indeed. My dad's double-vaxxed, so is my mom, and so is all the staff at the nursing home she's at, so when my dad visits her, nothing's different between today and back at the time when no-one was vaccinated.

The strange thing is now that you can find more stuff from the 'official press' reporting on conspiracies than there are publications by the conspirators.
At least it feels like this

Oh yes it does exist. For my wife the vaccination is a high health risk, confirmed by doctors. But I feel very comfortable with her because she strictly adheres to the usual security measures (distance, mask, desinfection). Much better than 99% of those vaccinated!

So, your wife is allergic to RNA?

Now, one can not say she is allergic to RNA (not proved, how? she would have to risk that). But she does react very allergic to a lot of meds very strange.
a.) Vaccinations like against ticks -> Very serious recations
b.) Antibiotics needed because of an (simple knee) operation -> Very serious recations
Why she should risk anything which is rarely tested?

Eddy Vluggen wrote: So, your wife is allergic to RNA?
Absolutely not, she'd be dead already if she was.
But the RNA is encapsulated in lipids so it can survive until it can reach a cell (RNA is highly unstable), some people might be allergic to those lipids.

Quote: Much better than 99% of those vaccinated! Hm ... where did you get that figure?
The vast majority of people I know to be vaccinated are behaving sensibly and still following other precautions. It could be better I agree, and of course, my observations might be influenced by the fact I tend to hang around with sensible people and avoid idiots like the ... oh ... was going to say "plague" but I guess that's outdated now . I'll "avoid idiots like Covid" from now on I think
