Yes, of course!
These websites obviously have some good stuff to offer me and they make it easy for me to subscribe to the even better stuff for subscribers only.
I never doubt their intentions so I can safely leave them my name and email address as I can be certain they won't abuse or sell it.
Even better when they ask for my credit card information, as the stuff must be really good if I have to pay for it!
Having subscribed, I sleep a little easier knowing I'll never miss out on new content from somerandomblog.com!
All in all, I can say the internet is a great place full of great people and companies who have my best interest at heart!
Not even Tim Berners-Lee could've dreamed his invention would bring out the best in all these people.
Too bad governments are corrupt and only think about themselves and harass heroes like Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook and Jess Bezos, who do their best to bring us even more great content, driven by a purely altruistic motive!
I say, more power to the internet!
Make ad-blockers illegal!
Away with lawmakers and their "privacy laws"!
More power to Facebook, Amazon and Google!
Wake up sheeple, it's time we stood up and fight for a single online identity, accessible to all!
Also, you can either agree with me or be wrong and Epstein didn't kill himself[^]

This will only take a moment and will be well worth my time".
My wife did that and now gets loads of mails that I keep trying to unsubscribe her from but it's a losing battle.

My "favorite" is the new cookie permissions popup. I just had one with dozens of settings, even using a tabbed dialog to get to them. Fortunately, there was a deny all button.

Oh yeah. The classic "designed by an engineer" solution.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Am I evil if I sometimes subscribe with their Marketing departments e-mail address?

I don't like being constantly hammered with banner messages at the top of a web page. Yes, I know my browser is out-of-date. no, i don't want to upgrade it. And stop with the forced legal; requirements to inform me about cookies on this site already! And stop hiding the content of the article I came to read by another huge banner that appears everytime I scroll-down and vanishes if I try to scroll-up.

You're asking the wrong species.

The ones that get me is where you are directed there from somewhere else and it either:
a) pops up that "we want you" popup - desperation in action?
b) content hidden till you register - why direct me to a site I cannot see?
Welcome to the 21st century - better get used to neo-marketing.

I accept all offers pop up ads and will send any requested information
EXCEPT the email address is a I-hate-ads@EZO.net
and the phone number is a burner phone I never turn on
as for my location PICK a city any city
Zip Code is the same as above or 92328
But here is my latest What the Elephant
MS has been updating my MS Security Essentials for Windows 7 for a year now and
the other day they wanted to update Net Core 3.1.14 and then Net Core 3.1.12
Why offer these updates when I have Net Core 3.1.15 installed
Are updates NOT cumulative ?
the updates FAILED so I opened a support ticket not something I normally do
after a nice support engineer and an hour on the phone they only explanation was
Would you like Windows 10 FREE we do not know why you are getting updates
So my question was Why does MS Security Essentials say you system is being protected ?
They know I am running Widows 7 How about a POP UP that is meaningful

Max Oazo - Supergirl (Original Mix)[^]
Found this chill dance cover of Reamonn's hit from 2000.
I can't really say a lot about it, except that I liked the original, but love this remix.
I can say I've mainly listened to the extended mix, but the only video I found was with beautiful women in small bikini's.
It's safe enough for YouTube, but I won't post it here to keep it SFW
A welcome change to the metal I've been listening for the past weeks!

Probably one of my least favorite tracks ever
I love me some Led Zep, but never this track.
I'm allergic to ballads (fun fact, a balled once made it to SOTW, in which I even said that's unique for a balled, but I can't remember which balled it was!)

Ooops ... sorry to hear that, bad me . On Friday it was late, and I was quite out from a lot of long hours of hard project work, and I thought - now is the time for a quiet moment, no DM this time, and before I knew it, YT reminded me again(!) about this track. So, it's YT's fault not mine ... Next time I will be more careful. Hope for some DM/BM on SOTW in the near future. And also, the latest Kataklysm caught my attention lately, and, even more, I purchased Enduring the Massacre, straigt from Dyscarnate merch ...
Cheers,

TX6430 wrote: the latest Kataklysm There's really just one Kataklysm album I like, and that's probably more out of nostalgia than anything else, Serenity in Fire!
Going to check out their latest though, it's not that I dislike them or anything.
Listening to Enduring the Massacre, also good stuff, although I don't think they'll ever top Nothing Seems Right

Indeed, "Nothing Seems Right" sets the mark very high - started paying attention to Dyscarnate after hearing this track on SOTW, then discovered "Enduring the Massacre" and found their performance really impressive ... - very uniform, high tempo, wonderful stuff. It is from 2010, and I think it overshadows their next album ... Until "With all might" of course ...
I will check "Serenity in Fire!", ik know only the latest 3 albums from Kataklysm. They are less uniform than Dyscarnate, but have some good moments ...
Cheers,
