Their newest wasn't quite my taste, or at least not all of it.
In any case you won't be disappointed

Intro? That was half the song!

I have to be honest, it just sounded like a mess. It was like all the instruments were recorded separately (and off the cuff) then edited together later. Like some sort of music experiment.
But hey, it's just an opinion.

When I first heard black metal, 18 years ago, I thought the mp3 file was corrupt
After that I eased into metal with some more melodic stuff like Nightwish and Dimmu Borgir.
The "corrupt mp3 file" later became one of my favorite black metal albums.

I just got "direct message" spam from a member called "davidfw" so I have his email (mercierdias3@outlook.com for all you spambots), and could sign him up to some ... interesting ... sites, but I'd kinda like to report him here as well.
But I can't find a way to search by username if he hasn't posted anything, and the "who's who" is limited to the first 1000 pages (out of 741,747) ...
Anyone know a way to get him?

I just tried the obvious /members/davidfw but "not able to load the user's data" so either already nuked or his summon nick is still the "user-xyz" and hence not easy to be found
another possibility would be to use the /membership/Member-ID Link in a loop from newest decreasing by one and checking
I don't think he will be an old account
But the easiest way will be for sure a CP staff to look in the DB for that email.
Additionally... Maybe you should post it in the B&S
and suggest to add the member ID (or even the link to the profile) in the notification Email. It should not be a big job to get it done and this way it would be easier to find the user that has contacted you.

I thought of that and did it right after posting here!

Another option - as spamming a developer site shows risky behavior (behaviour, to you).
Create SMTP mailer and send him a cease-and-desist about emaii: about 500 copies in a loop. I got some Pakistani embroidery merchant (and his minions) to stop this way (they screen-scraped my email from a website as webmaster@ ).
You can send some from yourself - then have randomized "from" addresses. Add in small perturbations to the subject and content (you've seen spam with a small list of random words at the bottom).
Usually one or two doses of this gets the point across.

It's appropriate, I hear, for the Queen to be trying new clothes for size. (9)

PERTINENT?

Based on appropriate and trying on clothes. I didn't figure out the sounds like the Queen bit. E? ER? But the guess just fit.

Message on MS Teams this morning, telling us that the Leadership team had emailed us - about the ongoing problems we are having with Outlook/Exchange. Yes, they emailed us about emails not working! I can see why they are leaders!!!!

Maybe they meant that they're having problems with the outlook for the company, but management won't be exchanged because they like their paycheck too much.
These problems are ongoing and they decided to send a Teams message about it.

Maybe they should not have said anything at all.

It's just another sign that the End Times are fast approaching. It is long past time, in their opinion, that you repent of your ways!

I just got done with weeks of code trying to do something I wasn't sure I'd be able to do.
To be honest, if my head wasn't a mess it would have taken me a few days, but that's another thing entirely.
But at first I wasn't even sure C++ was going to be able to do what I was going to ask it to do. It turns out, it could, as long as I accepted certain limits in terms of my graphics pixel sizes and such.
Anyway, do you know what this is? (see figure below)
This is victory.
This is my graphics library rendering and blting arbitrary bitmaps, to arbitrary pixel formats, in this case 2 bit grayscale mapped to "ascii art" that started as 24-bit RGB. But my pixel formats can be virtually anything you want. Any color model you can imagine. Any bit depth up to 64 bits. Any number of channels (but the total must be less than or equal to 64 bits) - RGB, Y'UV, YbCbCr, grayscale, monochrome, whatever, even ones i haven't defined.
This is satisfaction.
This is me taking an elephanting break.

thanks. i'll prepare an article when I'm ready. I have more legwork to do but the code is functional so far, so I'm good.
I need to add Y'UV and YbCbCr to RGB conversions next but I don't need to deal with it right at the moment. It's something to do as an alternative to getting bored.
