I have it set to auto-leveling on the back light.
Only trouble is, if I hold it the wrong way round, and my thumb shadows the camera, then about 5 seconds later the display dims...
If you get an email telling you that you can catch Swine Flu from tinned pork then just delete it. It's Spam.

Haha, I have the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze cell phone and the auto-brightness feature on it does the same thing! It's definitely quite annoying. So I just manually adjust the brightness.

I think it's the delay the does it - it's long enough that you aren't expecting it to happen so it surprises me every time.

Mhmm, that's exactly how mine is. If I'm in a room that doesn't have bright lighting, such as a bedroom in my home, all is good. And then I tilt the phone ever so slightly in one direction and the screen dims a few seconds later. Haha.

Same thing on my Nokia Lumia 920. Turned off auto-adjust brightness.
