As I stared out my window(s) longing for the arrival of a taxi, I wondered what other people can see out of their windows right this moment?
So here is a link to 3 photos I have just taken looking out of my office window.
One looks to the north. Another to the west, and another to the south west and up.

I work in an office which is in the centre of the large building. So the only views out of our windows are of internal corridors. I actually have to check the BBC weather to find out what it's like outside.

Sometimes better that way! especially in the summer when it is glorious sunshine outside and you end up getting depressed at being stuck indoors....

I look onto a courtyard, but at least it is a view.
I can see rain at the moment.

I have just refilled by mug with tea. I then accidently picked up an unopened packet of custard creams from beside the fridge and returned to my desk.
Before me lays tea and custard creams. It is the best view at my desk for the time being.

All photos there are from me. Most of them has been shot during a sea voyage from Hamburg to Greenland.
Including some on a foggy morning heading for Aberdeen. I hope the current fog will vanish soon so that you can go back home.

Me, no view, just cube walls and two monitors that cycle the desktop background every 30 minutes of outdoor scenes. I used to have a pond view out my window, but I got promoted and lost the window. (But it was worth it.)
It was broke, so I fixed it.

Technically speaking, it's a sea view, not an ocean view. From what I understand, right now he doesn't even have that - he has a fog bank view.

I can just see the sea. Fog bank has thinned a wee bit. probably got a hazy view for about 3 miles now.

He did, in fact, get acquitted of shoplifting, as did Mr Madeley! Isn't it amazing that celebrities get away with "forgetting" the stuff in their trolleys, while Joe Public would end up with a criminal record - I suppose it depends on the lawyers you can afford.
