Ironically the politics of CP have caused some to go away.
Social Media - A platform that makes it easier for the crazies to find each other.
Everyone is born right handed. Only the strongest overcome it.
Fight for left-handed rights and hand equality.

The pandemic would have a lesser effect here than many other workforces - so many work from home to begin with. I'd think the effects were minimal. One could, in fact, argue that those newly working from home would have more ability to participate - or contrariwise, be working extra hard to make a good impressions so they could stay working home (or not get laid off <=> i.e., redundant) they shy away for a while.
I've seen in my few years here some active parties come and go and come back and leave again. With and without intervening name changes.
But participation ebbs and flows - as a visible personality (which is the lounge, no?). Occasionally, if it's comparatively random, there will be cluster to enhance and decrease participation. Reflect upon one's own behavior and see how that fits into apparent participation.
And remember . . . as I learned during my Chicago sojourn, Vote Post Early, Vote Post Often

We're all getting older, so we are all getting less active. And with the pandemic, getting outside is harder meaning even less opportunity to be active even if we had wanted to.

jsc42 wrote: with the pandemic, getting outside is harder Veering off-topic, am I alone in having lost weight as a result of lockdown? I've had to give up a daily latte at the cafe / pub and a weekly cooked brunch out. Early on I was making the most of my "one hour" allowed exercise, walking more briskly (from home) than previously. Fewer shopping trips or click+collect meant less opportunity for impulse buying snacks. [Other unrelated events more recently mean I'm not getting out much at all now, unfortunately ]

The real question is did the egg beat the chicken across or not, thus answering the age old question of which came first, the chicken or the egg.

That's easy to solve: just order one of each from Amazon ...

That's easy. You've heard of beaten eggs, but not beaten chickens; so the chicken must have got there first.

Reminds me of the last time I left the house with "no key" and didn't know when the other half would be back. That's the problem when you have a house key and a car key, and they're different.
It was only in wine that he laid down no limit for himself, but he did not allow himself to be confused by it.

If your house key and your car key are the same, you might be a redneck.
I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated.
