The worst bit is when you google for a solution, find a CP article, read it, and think it's exactly what you wanted ... and then notice you wrote it.
I've done that a couple of times now.

Problem with that is... that this will increase the difficulty to find it again with the time, because a bunch of code monkeys will post their cool "wheel reinventions" and your search will list 2x or 3 times more hits than it was and probably the most of them will be utterly crap.

Having a cat that sometimes catches one and then plays with them under my bed..
..the only good mouse is a dead one. I don't like having to chase a cat that is chasing a mouse. If it stops moving he looses interest and clean up is quick.
To answer your previous question; Goedzo is an elderly fat black cat, and his outside space is limited to five by five meters. And still he brings in 7 mice on average per year. Pet-fence, so he can't get out of the garden.

Scratch building studio models and then butchering a ton of plastic model kits to detail them is slowly been becoming a lost art. Here I sit now and use computer graphics to reproduce the model kit parts that they once used to detail the Space 1999 Eagle. So far I have seen parts of WW 2 fighter (probably a Spitfire), a Gemini capsule, The Apollo command and service modules, the lunar landing module, some parts of model tanks and even sections of WW II ship decks. There also are lots of pipes, pumps and pressure tanks of which I have read the name of the real manufacturer. Who knows what kits these parts came from, but you can probably see the real thing when you take a tour through the right factory.
That fun kind of model building has been on its way out for decades now. Just look who the rebels go to when they need a new ship now: Lucasfilm Design New Star Wars - YouTube[^]

After years of not doing any, I am returning to the world of building plastic model kits and dioramas to set them in. Actually the dioramas are almost more fun to scratch build than the kits. ...and boy, have the kits gotten expensive!
- I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

Dioramas, huh? I have a Frankenstein version (made mostly of prototype and misprinted parts) of my Space 1999 Eagle standing here on the floor. It's going to be around 33 inches long. 1:32 Figures should work well. let's build a diorama of an eagle on it's launchpad or, better yet, the moonbase's hangar.
My boss is going to kill me when I turn my office into one big diorama.

Just a silly question: do you have a pet? If so, what is it?
I know that Sander - @Sanderrossel - has a cat.
I have a cat, but I'm broadminded and don't mind dogs.
Just remember: a dog may be man's best friend, but a cat won't tell the police where you hide your drugs ...
