Oh no, but it's a little weird. If the Thermistor does not work, how does it know that the maximum tempersture has been exceeded?
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats.
His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

Damn good question.
I went to Prusa knowledge base, googled but could not get an answer, so I have no idea. But I don't know what else it could be and that's the solution they give, so I ordered a replacement. They aren't that expensive so it's a cheap fix!
I'm not sure how many cookies it makes to be happy, but so far it's not 27.

It may be possible when it first reported too low a temperature when it started to fail and now, after it got toasted, permanently a high temperature. Turn on the printer. If that's true, it must also report a temperature error without having been heated up.

I powered it up and everything appeared normal.
Later I'll try printing again, might just have been a glitch?

Do you have anything to measure the temperature independently? It may have been just a glitch or a bug in the microcontroller's program, but it's better to keep an eye on it and shut it off before more damage is done.

No I have no way to test temps.
I used to leave it alone to do it's thing, don't think I'll be doing that anymore!

That *cough*npm*cough* could *cough*left*cough* never *cough*pad*cough* happen.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?
