... similar! I came across the one I posted, might be an old one but was new to me and I liked it.

What did I tell you about working from home and the Call of the Fridge?

I'm actually quite disciplined in that area. I'll refill a large cup of water multiple times a day, but I never go to the fridge during the day for a snack or the like.

Good morning
When I logged in today I lost about 100 rep points - If it wouldn't have caused a change in the thousands I might not even have recognized it, but now I ask whether there has been a change in counting?
Looking in my rep history I can't see any negative value (do we even have negative rep here? This is not SO - and that's good )
Anybody else found the own rep points decreased?

Same here too.
One more thing. When someone upvotes an article, the points added are just 10. Whereas when someone upvotes a Lounge post, it rises by 24 points.
This site being coding-centric, shouldn't it be the other way round? 24 points for upvote on an article, and 10 points for a Lounge upvote.

Depends on who does the upvoting: votes are "balanced" by reputation, so a higher rep "gives more points" than a lower one.

@OriginalGriff woke up this morning and noticed a drop of millions.
Don't worry, he makes thousands a minute and regularly gives half his points to charity (for tax benefits).
No doubt he'll get hamster support though, while the regular folk like you and I have to work for our upvotes

I was a large drop, yes. But ... I can't convert them to money, so I don't worry about them.

Fear & Desperation.
It's not easy keeping oneself away in isolation for way too long. Believe there is also pressure on how people affected are treated once its clear they might have it.

Alcohol is addictive to some people and as such will do most anything to get their high.
I'm not sure how many cookies it makes to be happy, but so far it's not 27.

I can understand to some extent when one is addicted to taking everything. But I can't understand if this is taken as a preventive measure - in this case Covid.

Well, it worked: they didn't die of Covid, no?

A couple years back when I did merchandising in retail stores, a bunch of stores in my area like Wal-Mart either stopped selling alcohol-based mouthwash or locked it in one of those cases they use for cosmetics/razors because people would come in and just start drinking them.
