Shouldn't that be "a lot more carefully than if you had two?
If I was down to one, I'd be a lot more careful with it...

Picture him in a wild dance - with two of them they could bang together with disastrous ramifications. With one, not so much.

With the sun shining outside, I took the T-Rex out of winter hibernation for a short test flight behind the house. I had to discharge a battery anyway. Sender and receiver were ok, servos responded correctly and only the blades were a little too loose. Then came the moment to lift off. The motor came to life, but only for a few seconds and then came to a screeching halt. Shoot!
My first guess is that the bearings are done and perhaps some of the coils have quit as well. Looks like I need a new motor, but where to get one while the local stores are closed? Well, if I already have the dubious pleasure to take it apart, I might as well check everything else, but I would like to do that before ordering parts.

Several time I have not done that and that has cost me time and more money! Is Amazon still operating their delivery service in you neck O the woods? I hate buying things like from Amazon as the smaller shops still need customers or the will die. I was in a Model shop on Saturday buying some Gold paint there was one guy in there looking to buy a Glock airpistol andother on the phone to buy a crossbow. I felt like I was in the Walking Dead!

If so, just order some 50-cent piece of cr@p, and be ready with a fishing net.

Rewind it. Bearings and wire are both cheap. Just don't try to superglue the windings in place - it dissolves the polyurethane insulation. Dont ask how I know!
I've bought motors with an unwanted Kv rating since it was cheaper to do that and rewind immediately.

Yes, there have been many, but this must be up there in the 'top 10'. A BBC reporter was interviewing a flower shop owner about the hit on her trade.
Flower Shop Owner: "This is the worst Mother's Day we've had in over 30 years."
BBC Reporter: "And why is that?"
What! To her credit, the flower shop owner answered without being sarcastic or patronising. I'm pretty sure my reply would have qualified for both.

One day? like most women, they have a day for and against everything. Of course only the days that somehow draw attention to them are important, the rest not so much. Anyone here who forgot to honor one of the many 'gimme attention' days once?

To play the devil's advocate, a good reporter will not "fill in the blanks" from what someone said but will ask further questions to get the person to explain themselves.

Sure, but when it's clear no explanation is needed, the only thing the reporter achieves by doing that is to make himself look dumb.
