Meh. It's not like Google is a stranger to this sort of thing.

Me.
This morning I was sitting in the train, eating a croissant. Then an asteroid hit the other seat and I was was launched upwards. When I landed, I saw that we had not been hit by an asteroid. It was just a land whale that was getting compfortable and oozing over to my seat.
I had choked a little on the last bite of the croissant an coughed, which earned me a look from the land whale. And that gave me a very evil idea how to get rid of it. I suddently felt ill. Very ill. My performance must have been good. In less than 30 seconds the land whale felt the urgent need to get away from me. Surprising how fast such a ball of blubber can run.
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats.
His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

Roll. Balls roll, they don't run.
Perhaps the train going downhill at the time?

I have often told family and friends that if they need more space on the subway, all they need to do is start drooling and foaming. Incoherent noises help, too.

So you're saying that all my efforts to stop drooling, foaming, and making incoherent noises are wasted effort?

Long ago a folksinger (Joni Mitchell) sang a song "Yellow Taxi". It's most important words ever ring true:

Damn, I did not think of that. A recruiter called me yesterday about a 6 month contact to hire in a part of the country I will never move too (medical issue since age 20, and other reasons). I automatically turned them down.
I forgot how many jobs I have had that allowed me to work remotely - usually after a trail period.
I think I should call them back, because I am one of the few people that is actually qualified for the position.
In reality, most of the original members of CP qualify.

Sooo... even if he learned how to squeeze the coffee beans, he still wouldn't know how to milk the almonds?

I smell a procrastinator.
I've been working from home for nearly 13 years now and wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm betting this guy's just hiding behind this excuse and in reality he's the type who stops by every cubicle and doesn't start his day until 10.
If you have no discipline whatsoever, then yeah, working from home might not be for you.

Bang on.
It's not that hard to say "OK, now I have to put the nose to the grindstone", and then actually do it.
