Are you worried more about these scammers's CCTV and audio systems being accessed, or the database they also surely must have, containing the details of the people they've suckered...including their credit card info...?
I suspect they're not too big on data security one way or another.

Perhaps Caveat Decipitur given the circumstance?
(n.b. I have no latin beyond Caveat Emptor and Mea Culpa, so Decipitur is probably quite incorrect)

Hadn't seen this before. Pretty funny. Tabs versus Spaces - YouTube[^]

You're working in this field and admitting to not having seen Silicon Valley? It should be required viewing by now...
What else have you missed, The IT Crowd?
(Interesting observation: Are we such a predictable cookie-cutter bunch that both shows happen to have the same 8.5 rating on IMDB...?)

What else have you missed, The IT Crowd? I've never seen either of them.

Well, if you found the humor in that clip, then you owe it to yourself to set aside the usual sitcoms for a while and watch these. Their respective seasons aren't that long.
And don't settle for random YouTube clips. You lose a lot of context.

It must have to do with the type of "person" who'll use a Mac to begin with, but
Coding?
If one sets their editor to 'convert tabs to spaces' than all things are good: what you do and what everyone and anyone can see.
But - what can one expect from these millennial who equate cost with quality and are ditzy enough to spend US$1K on a telephone every year?

Thou shalt count to four, no more, no less. Four shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be four. Five shalt thou not count, nor either count thou three, excepting that thou then proceed to four. Six is right out! Once the number four, being the fourth number, be reached, then shalt proceed to typeth.

The _number_ of SPACE characters is not important, the actual on-screen width of the indent created is. I.e. the smaller the font, the more of them you need.
|
|
|
|
|
Even in a fixed-width font, which is what most everyone uses? In a small font of that type, I'm fine with less absolute indentation, because it's more or less relative.
But what I was really getting at is that if tabs are converted to spaces, people who use tabs won't be happy afterwards. Which, of course, is how it should be.

Yes, well they who use TABs should be forced to use Notepad.
