Soak test? Isn't that just the technical term for spilling a drink on your keyboard?

No, that's just "checking your IP": IP Explained[^]

Well the IP to the widget I am testing, for keyboard soak tests I recommend a Dell Keyboard from a few years ago (nice to type on and relatively water proof)...

might want to add some SOAP too,
they say peoples keyboards got more germs than their toilets, particularly heavy users. (PC for fat dev's?).

clean your keyboard, and save time by not cleaning toilet.
after many otherwise intelligent sounding suggestions that achieved nothing the nice folks at Technet said the only solution was to low level format my hard disk then reinstall my signature. Sadly, this still didn't fix the issue!

Look at the last post in the thread you started yesetrday asking him for his CCC. He posted it there for some reason and not in a new thread.

I looked for anagrams, and missed that completely, probably because I'm not in the dictionary ...

The way the dictionary is heading I am sure it won't be long until they add you in. I am sure we can come up with a globally accepted definition for "doing an OriginalGriff"... any suggestions?

No need to "defend" - I wasn't trying to "Tell you off" or attack you in any way, and I apologize profusely if I gave that impression.
As a clue, it's not bad - it's just the word needs to be in a dictionary!
And if you want people to see it, it needs to be in the right thread, not stuck in a backwater titularly aimed at a single member.
Have a try at tomorrow's - it's open to anybody (except the setter, obviously).

Debugging regex stuff is arduous
Every time i think it's ready for prime time something crops up.
I got some cool stuff working in Rolex so far though. It's just not quite *there* yet, I think.
I hope what's left doesn't snowball into something major.
I wish i had someone to do all this testing for me. =)
