If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

IE is an open door. M$ fixes things so everything works. Open wide, you can swallow the entire Web. The good and the bad.

Firefox Monitor seems to be some new 'Just faarrrkkkk off now' feature that appeared in the last update. Look up in the left of the Address Bar and I see a Magnifying Glass in a Hexagon on the XKCD site, on a lot of other sites it's some weird shield that is shaded in on the left side.

You're right. I hadn't noticed that. On CP i see the shield you're talking about and it says, "tracking attempts blocked". There is also the circle i to the left of that which gives info about the site.

Lots of people have favourite movies that were big hits, but what about those that you thought were really, really good - but bombed at the box office for some weird reason. Even if the film didn't do so well, perhaps it has a great line in it?
One of mine is "Tremors" from 1990. The best line is, "...but I want to live for the three days"!

Curry plays that role fantastically, like the transvestite in Rocky. Full of dark sexual menace, he is an expert at it!

The movie I would pick is "Trancers". A definite B movie, almost no film production budget, but it just worked.

A long time ago my wife and I watched an indie film about a guy who got trapped in a neighborhood house for 4 to 5 days, lived on what he could find in the fridge etc. The last scene of the flick was him sitting with his buds telling the story and the last line was: "You know the worst part? There was no beer." At that point I had realized we had seen something and that it had our attention the whole time.
For the life of me I don't remember what it was called.
+1 for Tremors. "They're under the gall dang ground!"

Great timing, Mike! The temp dropped 10 degrees yesterday, and is supposed to climb back to normal by the end of the week.

Yeah we're in Fredonia right now and its 80s so yeah we hit it right, at least here. We were going to Yellowstone in a couple of weeks but temps there are getting cold so I think we will try going this week, temps are supposed to rise for several days. Haven't drove in the snow for many years and never pulling a camper.

An old Mel Brooks film - The Thirteen Chairs. Never seen it associated with his film lists, but I think it was one of his best.
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, navigate a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Does Fight Club qualify? It's IMHO a masterpiece, among the best movies ever made, but AFAIR wasn't exactly successful.
