Oblivion as a mod for Skyrim: The Elder Scrolls: Skyblivion - Teaser Trailer - YouTube[^]
Does that look pretty, or what?
I loved Oblivion - not quite so fond of Skyrim, the story didn't "gell" for me and I didn't get such a sense of freedom. But ... Skyrim graphics, and mechanics with Oblivion story? Now, where did I leave my Ebony Blade, the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal, and Azura's Star ... ?
There is a much longer "gameplay" demo as well: The Elder Scrolls:Skyblivion - Gameplay/Q&A - YouTube[^]

I agree, those dragons in Skyrim were only put in for commercial purposes imho

I think it was the whole "legion or stormcloaks" thing - I wasn't fond of either group and would happily have slaughtered them all. Especially as I was playing as an Argonian ...
But to progress you have to "Pick a side".

Wow game graphics has come a long way.
I don't play but do admire the art!

"I hate ironing".
No, sorry. That's definitely true, but not your problem ...
Is terminal velocity the speed you reach when late for a flight?

You just might also reach terminal velocity if you skip ironing

Per terminal velocity: I won't fall for that !

I don't mind ironing, which is lucky as after my wife had an accident and ended up having her right wrist fused around 10 years ago I have to do all of it around here.
Mate of mine finds it really relaxing. He works away during the week, and when home likes to spend Saturday morning doing some ironing and watching sport. If there is no ironing to do he cannot fully relax that weekend.

General housework I don't mind, use it as a break to think away from the keyboard with one very conscious exception: ironing.
Since I started working for myself anything that needed ironing was outed to the Sallies (including a few shirts still in the wrappers).

To you - and the others -
Here in the states we have an absolute miracle. It's called "Permanent Press".
And damn, it goes through the wash and dry and is ready to wear! Even when the press finally starts to wear out, compared to sending the clothes out for ironing you've saved enough for a big new monitor, extra DRAM, even enough to buy a few more shirts.
You got to check this out! It's amazing!

I don't like the feel of permanent press fabric against my skin. All my shirts are 100% cotton.

Well - a cotton undershirt should take care of most of that, no?
Oh wait - I just thought of another option for you to consider: Body Paint !*
* if you try the body paint, I cannot stress enough how important it is that you do not iron it!

TMI: I do wear cotton underclothes (that I launder myself).

My pickets being picked[^]
Well - I can always hope it'll be compensated for with the lower prices for wheat and soybeans and stuff. Oh, wait - billions were spent to prop up the farmers - so that's where that money will go.
Well - I guess it's just your typical GOP tax hike on the middle class. "Nothing to see here".

While I agree good Sir, may I please suggest that you consider the Soap Box.

I intended the Soapbox - forgot to change screens.
If anyone can move it to where it belongs it would be nice.
AND, come to think of it - would that not be a decent capability for a user for their own posts (or is it already there and I don't know about it).

And all those taxes don't even give you free healthcare or education
I guess those are the perks of having a president who cares more about his ego than his people.
At least he runs the country like his businesses, into the ground with no one on his mind but himself.
So anyway, this is kind of Soapbox material so I'll leave it at that.

These happen once in a while - do you agree that the OP should be able to fix their own post's location (even if limited to Lounge->Soapbox) ? I put in bugs and suggestion - there could be good reasons it's not available even with the limited scope.
I could delete the thread but it's remained pretty civil, so far; also, there are enough posts that I don't want to blow them away if there's an option.
