So, possibly, she wasn't even really your wife.

You mean it was the key to her heart? Perhaps she's board with you now, or you're not her type. Careful or she'll shift you, and change the lock. That'll make you curs or worse.
(Can't believe I got in with these before anyone else...)

I've been watching the LockPickingLawyer on Youtube, and it's strangely fascinating.
I have no idea why - it's just a bloke's hands wiggling bits of metal in other bits of metal (unless he decides to destroy the lock, in which case anything can happen).
Anyway ... that looked easy, so I thought I'd give it a try. And my lockpicks and learning locks arrived today. It's not easy, but it does come with practice. And I've practiced so much this afternoon than my left hand has cramped up and I can barely type with it ... it is fun in the "sense of achievement" sort of way.
However, I can now open the learning padlock and front door lock really quickly!

If you're serious and want to learn lockpicking, I know a guy in Wales who teaches it. Not in Ystradgynlais, though. This bloke lives in Barry...

That's why I have a "hard to pick" lock on my front door. You basically need three hands if you're gonna pick that.

I suspect that the LockPickingLawyer could stroll through without breaking step - I've watched him pick some complicated locks very quickly ...
And as he says: most burglars can't pick locks - but they can heave a brick through a window.

Yeah. I've seen the guy.
That's why I wrote Hard to pick.
Luckily most burglars avoid the brick method. It tends to attract attention, which leaves them little time to work.
Also. My neighbour is a police. Of the kind that's never really off duty.
