The Dutch learn Dutch, French, German and English. So make a litle more effort in your languages!
In Word you can only store 2 bytes. That is why I use Writer.

Thats only because they keep getting invaded by them...
Anyway, English is made up of Low German, Danish (like Dutch) and French, so we already speak them all.

Looks nice though, are those horses wild? Didnt know many place had wild horses left in Europe.
|
|
|
|

Yes those are wild "Konik" horses, initially imported from Poland: Konik - Wikipedia[^]
What they don't show in the documentary is quite macabre, during the winter lot's of them died because of overpopulation and now there's a heated discussion going on whether they should be fed during wintertime.

Yeah, I guess it takes a while for a species to fully adapt to the local conditions.
We have these ponies near us, Dartmoor pony - Wikipedia[^] , but they have been here for thousands of years so are well adapted to the hard conditions.

One of the most interesting (to me c)instances of adaptation is the Padre Island cattle. They adapted to eating salt water plants and swimming across the channel separating the island from the mainland. Although, since the crossed the channel to get to slaughter houses, I'm not sure how Darwin would explain that!

We probably gave you some back.
Interestingly horses evolved in North America, migrated to Asia, then were taken to Europe by invaders, then brought back to the Americas by European colonists. So it only makes sense to give som wild horses back to the Europeans.

Those deer[^] are like "you came to the wrong neighborhood Schweinhund!"
This could turn out to be a pretty interesting documentary yet (and also not for the feint of heart)

Yes, those Dutch deer can be pretty arrogant and hardheaded, in a while they will be wearing wooden clogs too

Especially for the German and their holidays about 75% of the roads are currently under construction in FlevoLand.

Fake news !
On the other hand, Saturday I will be driving through Germany to Denmark and the roads around Hamburg always seem to be under construction, a real bottleneck which can not be avoided

I{m sure it must be nice, but my Dutch isn{t up to the task of understanding.

Well the first bus gets you across the winning line, so you are up tomorrow!
I like the second clue better, as it's a little harder, but I wanted to try and stick with the "Policeman" theme... good luck trying to stick with it tomorrow!
