It's been quite a few years since I've been up there, Loch Lomond is worth a visit, with boat trips from Balloch.
But be aware of how big Scotland is... it can take a lot of driving to visit some of the more northern places like Inverness.

Nice!
Sorry for the confusion, from 20,000km away, looks all the same to me!

I suggest you look at the distances involved. Also note that the further north you go the fewer wide straight roads there are.

Sorry, one week and 2 days in total...
My fault... ^^¡

In that case I heartily recommend the west coast. Starting from Inverness and travelling across to Ullapool, then follow the road north as far as it goes. Stunning scenery, and wide open spaces; and occasionally the sun shines up there too.

Scottish born and bred here. If you were visiting for a week then your itinerary would realistic, but for a weekend I would suggest that it's a bit ambitious.
You basically have one full Saturday. The Friday you land you will be in Edinburgh and you're leaving the Sunday and will need to be at the airport several hours before your flight. You could easily spend the entire day just in Edinburgh itself as there is so much to see. The Castle, Arthurs Seat, Hollyrood Palace, The Royal Mile etc
It's entirely up to you, but to see all the things you've listed in a day would need a time machine. More realistically you could visit Stirling Castle where William Wallace's (Braveheart) sword is displayed as well as other memorabilia attributed to the great man.

Is this realistic? is it too much?
Sadly, completely unrealistic. To get from Edingburgh just to Urquart then back would take you all day with zero time to spend there. You have to remember where you are, you will struggle to get over 40mph on these roads and if you get stuck behind people it can be even worse. If you want to visit Loch Ness properly I'd plan to get close and stay overnight then spend time there and head back after. That's two days just for Loch Ness only.

Of course it's unrealistic. Even if all the sights mentioned had been right next to each other, it would have been unrealistic - unless by "seeing" they mean "from the car window while driving by", because you'd need time to go around and explore the places as well. And as for the trip out to the Skye Islands...
I suspect he's pulling our collective legs there. Or at least, I hope he is.
Probably thinking of spending the entire weekend in a pub!

Well, not collective legs, not planning to spend the weekend in a pub... Just made a mistake writing... I arrive Edinburgh on Friday from week 1 and leave the Sunday from week 2.
Now that you know this... could you please answer it again?
I'm really interested in opinions from people who knows that area...
Thanks!

Bit of a lame suggestion but I like the Hairy Cows in the Highlands, if you have time take a train journey to the Kyle of Loach Alsh spelt wrongly...
